The ‘Traces of Mind Control’ project started in 2011 at Erfurt University, Germany. It was organized and headed by Sharon Ullman (Bryn Mawr College), Juergen Martschukat (Erfurt University), and Olaf Stieglitz (University of Cologne). Original research was funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and conducted by a group of (at that point in time) graduate students and doctoral candidates – Nadya Arzouni, Robert Fischer, Nina Mackert, and Jan Taubitz, all from Erfurt University.

This website is the result of that project. The site was designed and constructed at Bryn Mawr College with the support of the Tri-Co Digital Humanities Initiative at Bryn Mawr College, and Cheryl Klimasewski (Digital Collections, Bryn Mawr College), Mike Tedeschi (Interactive Mechanics), Archana Kaku, and Yifei Wu (Bryn Mawr College). We would like to acknowledge our gratitude to all these institutions and people who were of invaluable assistance in creating this website.
